Tips:
DABPRESS Amberigo 4-Ton Starter Rosin Press
5-Ton Max Pressure | 3x5" Starter Dual Heat | 100% Metal Construction | Zero Plastic
The Amberigo 4 Advantage: Purity Through Industrial Integrity
The Amberigo 4 is engineered for those who refuse to compromise on quality from day one. While entry-level competitors rely on plastic components that warp and off-gas under heat, DABPRESS sets the standard with 100% Industrial-Grade Metal. By eliminating plastic from the frame and controller housing, we ensure a clean, toxin-free extraction environment—the only way to achieve true Faint Amber Extracts.
Product Highlights & Core Features
- Zero-Plastic Architecture: Constructed entirely from Anodized 6061 Aluminum and Stainless Steel. This rigid build guarantees a lifetime of service without the cracking or bending associated with composite materials.
- Synchronized Thermal Control: Features an advanced dual-PID controller paired with high-wattage heating rods. This ensures both 3x5" plates maintain perfectly uniform temperatures, preventing hot spots that scorch delicate resins.
- Gravity-Assisted DripTek™ Ready: Includes specialized metal base-legs that allow the machine to tilt. By harnessing gravity, you can pull fresh oil away from the heat the moment it's pressed, locking in peak flavor and color.
- Modular "Service-for-Life" Design: Designed for the long haul. Both the 4-ton hydraulic unit and the digital brain are fully user-serviceable and replaceable, making this the last starter press you’ll ever need to buy.
- Safety-First Engineering: Features a recessed power switch and protected wiring, providing a secure, professional-grade workspace for home-scale extraction.
Expert Advice: Mastering the "Tactile" Squeeze
Operating a manual press without a gauge is an art form. The Amberigo 4’s solid metal handle provides a direct "bridge" to your material. Follow the Tactile Resistance Logic:
- The "Firm Sponge" Phase: As you pump, the handle will resist like a "firm sponge." This is the sweet spot where the oils begin to saturate the filter bag.
- The "Soft Wall" Limit: When the handle resistance shifts to a "soft wall" (feeling significantly stiffer), you have reached maximum compression. Stop immediately to prevent blowout and maintain oil clarity.
- Listen to the Resistance: Let the material breathe. If the handle feels too "crunchy," you are moving too fast. Slow down and let the heat do the work.

The "Zero-Blowout" Protocol
- Material Prep: Remove all sharp stems from flowers and ensure material is at 62% RH.
- The Pre-Heat: Close the plates until they snugly grip the bag. Wait 45-60 Seconds to prime the oils before adding pressure.
- The Ramped Squeeze: Apply 1/4 pumps every 15 seconds. Give the oil "exit time" to escape the center of the plates.
- Plate Care: Wipe the plates while warm with 99% ISO alcohol for a factory-fresh finish every time.
