We attached a bamboo plank for all of DIY press plates kits, and keep it underneath the cage to protect the hydraulic press from overheating too.

We would like to recommend rosineers make his own setup if you guys have enough rooms for it, and you would not move it. Because DIY units offer a very durable frame, high pressure, and long service life.
