i press once every 3 minutes 30 seconds .if i have a 100 pouches to press it will take me 5.8 hours if i use two of the parchment holders i can pre load a bag into the 2nd cage while the other bag and holder are in use . saves me 1 minute of loading a bag x100 after witch cuts my overall pressing time down to 4.1 hours . witch saves me 1.7 hours of manual pressing up to 12 tons . this is absolutely a necessity if you want to use your rosin press to do anything other than make rosin for personal use .
This jig is actually pretty neat, it has strong magnets and will allow you to get a tight fit with your rosin filter between the parchment. It also allows you to just rest it in-between the plates so you don't have to do anything with the parchment or filter, everything is locked into place and ready to press. I see this more of a luxury item, but if you do a lot of pressing with horizontal bags, you'll likely find this a useful tool. I leave mine in the box to keep it safe and break it out when needed. With a couple of helpers, you could have a one person filling filters and getting them setup in the jig, and the other doing the pressing. This should help on a production level to keep things neat and clean.
very important tool! Perfect.
